Pink Shag Pillow

So the other day I stumbled upon a great tutorial for a Shag Pillow by V and Co and knew I had to make one for Emily's room. I've been thinking about redecorating it for a while now and this pillow will be perfect.

I had been planning on making this for a while now and I had the pink knit fabric in my tickle truck so when I came across a pink fleece blanket at the thrift store for $1.99, I knew it would be perfect.

This is what I came up with. I made it longer, more like a bolster pillow, and of course it had to be pink!

Now I'll be honest. I read the tutorial a few weeks ago, and sewed this from memory. Well my memory isn't as good as it used to be and I cut the strips 2 inches long instead of 4, so it isn't as shaggy as it should be, but I still like it and so does Em. What do you think?
